At the beginning of the year 2003, a new musical body named „Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra Vysočina“ was founded to fill a gap in cultural life of the city of Jihlava and of the Vysočina region and to raise interest in so called classical music at present-day listeners and above all to continue in the tradition of Gustav Mahler, B.Smetana, V. Stamic… and others who operated in our region and who had impact on the music of the world.

The orchestra has parameters of common philharmonic body and is created by professional musicians of the region. The composition of the orchestra is diverse – from a chamber string orchestra up to a big symphonic orchestra.

The Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra Vysočina has in its repertoire concerts classic orchestral pieces, solo works, concerts for schools, promenade concerts, subscription cycles of concers for citys of the Vysočina region.

The interest that is connected with the activities of CPOV pleases us a lot. We believe that it will become your orchestra whose concerts you will often visit and that this orchestra will always bring you deep artistic experience in its music.

Management of Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra Vysočina

Anfangs des Jahres 2003 entstand in Jihlava (Iglau) ein neuer Musikkörper „Kammerphilharmonie Vysočina“, welcher sich zum Ziel setzte, eine Lücke im Kulturleben der Stadt Jihlava und des Kreises Vysočina (Böhmisch-Mährische Höhe) zu füllen und das Interesse des heutigen Zuhörers an der sog. klassischen Musik zu wecken und vor allem an die Tradition von G. Mahler, B. Smetana, V. Stamic... und anderer anknüpfen, welche in unserer Region tätig waren und bedeutend das Weltmusikgeschehen beeinflusst haben.

Die Philharmonie verfügt über Parameter eines gewöhnlichen Philharmonie-Körpers, welche professionelle Musiker dieser Region bilden. Die Zusammensetzung des Orchesters ist variabel - vom Kammerstreichorchester bis zum großen Philharmonieorchester.

Bei der „Kammerphilharmonie Vysočina“ stehen im Programm klassische Orchesterwerken, Solowerke, Konzerte fur Schulen, Promenadekonzerte, Konzertabonnierungszyklen fur die Stadte des Kreises vysočina.

La Philharmonie de Chambre Vysočina a été crée au début de 2003 à Jihlava. Son but est de compléter ce qui manquait dans la vie culturelle de la ville de Jihlava et de la région de Vysočina. L‘objectif est de réveiller l´intéret de l´auditeur contemporain à la musique classique et attacher a la tradition de G. Mahler, B. Smetana, V. Stamic et autres qui vivaient dans notre région et avaient l´influence sur la musique mondiale.

La Philharmonie de Chambre Vysočina est une des composantes de l‘orchestre philharmonique souvant formée de musiciens professionnels de la région. La formation de l‘orchestre peut etre variable, allant de l´orchestre de chambre à cordes jusqu´à l´orchestre symphonique.

La Philharmonie de Chambre Vysočina propose des concerts pour orchestre, pour solistes, des concerts pour des écoles, des concerts de promenade, des cycles réguliers de représentations pour des villes de la région de Vysočina.
